Products/Services

Products and Services need to have a use in todays market to be successful. Paired with Marketing and Communications – they can be on the road to legendary status.

What is a Product and are they Important

A product is a tangible (physical object) or intangible (service) item that is created to satisfy the needs and wants of customers.

In marketing, a product is a key element of the marketing mix, along with price, promotion, place, people, process, and physical evidence. A product’s features, benefits, and branding are all important considerations in the marketing process. The product should be designed and positioned in a way that meets the needs and wants of the target market, and differentiates it from competing products.

All products go through a life cycle, from its development and introduction to the market, to its growth, maturity, and eventual decline. Understanding the product life cycle can help businesses plan their marketing strategies and make decisions about when to introduce new products, and how to maintain or phase out existing ones. This is where periodic SWOTs come in handy.

Product Delivery

Product delivery refers to the process of getting a product or service into the hands of the customer. It includes all of the steps involved in producing, distributing, and delivering the product to the customer.

Product delivery can be a complex process, especially for businesses that sell physical products. It may involve sourcing raw materials, manufacturing, warehousing, and transportation. For service-based businesses, product delivery may involve scheduling appointments, providing training, or delivering digital products.

Effective product delivery is crucial for businesses, as it can impact customer satisfaction and loyalty. Customers expect their orders to be fulfilled accurately and in a timely manner, and may become frustrated if there are delays or issues with the delivery process. To ensure a smooth product delivery process, businesses should have robust systems and processes in place, and work with reliable partners such as suppliers and logistics companies.
